Give Geo a Chance.
Google Earth is now available through your Chrome Browser. What does that mean? That means we can take the power of Google Earth and use it on a Google Chromebook. Why does that matter? Because connecting kids to the Earth through geo tools is a perfect way to let them see where they are (literally) compared to the rest of the world. It takes a two-dimensional curriculum and extends it to the third-dimension. We will explore not only Google Earth, but a host of other amazing Google Geo tools (Google Earth Engine, Google Streetview, MyMaps, Google Cardboard, etc.). Ready. Set. Explore.

Digital storytelling is the process of creating media content both visual, written, and verbal to share stories of life and learning. Through the use of various apps, students can design, showcase, and share what they are passion about, or infuse that passion into the classroom learning they present. Whether it is a digital book, a podcast, or a film, students can use these real-world mediums to present learning in a creative and personal way.
Objectives
Understand the fundamentals of storytelling
Introduce platforms and tools that support storytelling
